Dear GLOBIS Community,

As you may be aware, the Hokuriku region of Japan has recently been struck by a devastating earthquake, affecting countless lives and communities. In these trying times, your concerns and heartfelt messages for those impacted have been a source of comfort and strength. We are profoundly grateful for your empathy and solidarity.

GLOBIS has always been committed to social responsibility and proactive support in times of need. After the East Japan Great Earthquake, we provided scholarships and trained many social entrepreneurs who led the rebuilding efforts. We also established KIBOW Foundation, raised $1M, and provided grants to leaders in the tsunami-affected regions, thanks to the collective action and generosity of our supporters. This spirit of giving and support is the cornerstone of our community.

Once again, we are called upon to demonstrate our shared values and compassion. We are organizing a charity initiative to raise funds for those affected by the disaster. Together with GLOBIS's current MBA students, alumni, faculty, and other community members, we aim to provide meaningful assistance to those in need through this fund.

Your contribution, no matter the size, will directly support relief operations and aid in the swift recovery of the affected areas. Let us unite our strengths and channel our GLOBIS spirit into action that can bring hope and reconstruction to those who need it most.
Thank you for embodying the values of our institution and for being part of this important initiative.

With sincere appreciation,

Yoshito Hori
